"The Good Nail series is an ode to my love of long nails - a beautiful and delicate accessory. At one point, it was an absolute necessity for me and I laboriously grew and groomed my nails with the upmost attention. It felt sort of like growing and keeping a favorite plant alive; home grown. I think there is a super power in having long beautiful nails, and have always noticed a difference in the way women carry themselves when they have them.
The painting is inspired by Kendall, one of the many women I have had the pleasure of knowing in my life. A fellow obsessor of home grown nails. "

Each print is produced as a giclée on archival fine art paper, with a soft velvet surface.
Each piece is framed at our print studio in San Antonio, Texas, where frames are cut and assembled by hand.
It is finished with premium acrylic glass, offering a protective surface that preserves the work.
